Black Friday TV Predictions 2017: 4K Prices Will Be Almost as Cheap as 1080p

Well. . .again, girlfriend's parents have that permanently on, so everything looks like that. Movies, drama shows, doesn't matter. That means there are people that prefer it. Someone on here said he likes the look because the choppiness of 24p bothers him; there are probably others that feel the same way. Some folks can't tell the difference. Some folks might have grown up on video games which generally brag about being able to run at 60fps, so perhaps that looks "right" to them.

I am with you though.

Lots of people have motion smoothing on because they just don't know any better. If I visit anybody and they have it on, I will ask for the remote and turn it off. Sometimes I don't even ask. Most people thank me for doing the adjustment, but at least once they told me not to do it (so I did it while they went to the kitchen for something).
