IMO it's better than other hand-held stabilizers I've bought or used briefly.

The lens I was flying with was a Tokina 11-16mm. Even though we had it wide open because of how dark it was (f2.8) the depth of field wasn't so shallow that I ever had to touch the focus. I think just over 2 metres is the most it can focus before it hits infinity so that simplifies everything.
