I know it sounds cocky, but I"ve written some scripts that are amazing I mean top notch. Everybody thinks the same about there scripts but I'm seriouse these scripts will be movies that people will talk about. Any idea of some productions companys that will take unsolocited synopsis or scripts?

No, besides trying to shoot your own short film? why would someone attempt to write a short you cant sell it can you? why do you know somone in need of a short? I can write one.

Send your scripts to big contests like Heart of Austin, the Nicholl, or the Chesterfield. If your scripts are indeed "the best scripts ever" then they'll win or place very highly in those contests. If you win the Heart of Austin screenwritng competition, then every production company will want a chance to read your script.

Make sure you register them with the WGA, then copyright them. After that, I am a producer, and I'd be interested in such a read. PM Me.

Judging from your spelling and punctuation, I have to wonder if this best script ever is 'market ready', or if you could even write a query letter that won't get tossed in the trash.

Sorry to sound harsh, but command of the English language is the first thing serious companies look for, along with page count, before even touching the content.

Need to do your homework on finding production companies. Lots out there. Try Craig's list. Lots of companies looking for short and feature scripts there.

I don't know of any reputable companies that are interested in unsolicited scripts. On the other hand, even without contests, a couple of the "best scripts ever" should land you an agent in no time flat! So start there.

I hate to submite them, because I wanna shoot them myself. And we all know the chances of anybody letting you do that when you have no experience. I just cant let someone take my babies and destroy them. I don't care if spielberg wanted to do one of my films, it's like putting one of my children for adoption, I dont have kids but that's what it would feel like i presume.

And yes alex, I know my spelling and punctuation are not great on forums. I work really hard to make sure they're perfect on my scripts. When I type in forums I try to let loose and just relax, thanks for the advice.

why bother telling everyone you have the "best scripts ever" if you have no intention of showing them to anyone?

Like Barry said, send them to major screenwriting fests like the Nicholl fellowship. If they're good and win, people will find you.

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that these aren't actually the best scripts ever. Just a wild guess....

Oh no. They are the best scripts. The poster told us so.

I'm with EJ. Why would someone make a claim like that unless it was true? This is a no brainer.

Best?

Best?

I believe Gone with the wind is still considered the best feature screenplay ever written, as well the best feature movie ever made.

If you can top that, then hats off.

Numbers vary, but somewhere around 40,000 to 50,000 ''best ever'' scripts are submitted each year. Of those, roughly 200 ''best ever'' scripts will actually be filmed, many of which were written by the producers or Directors, leaving the spec writer with even fewer ''best ever'' shots at stardom.

Of those 200-ish, only a handful will make it to the awards. In the end, only one 'best ever' will be chosen (per awards, per catagorey).

That means ...

somewhere around 39, 800 to 49, 800 ''best ever'' screenplays per year never make the cut.

Uplifting odds.

And, a lot of those 200 filmed scripts are adaptations or sequels. The realistic strategy is to consider your script a calling card that will get you noticed. And if you're lucky and or good, you might get an assignment.

It's also worth pointing out that Oscar winning screenplays have sat on studio shelves for years before they were "discovered". At my level, I'd just like to get a script on someone's shelf. That'd be a moral victory.
