Best royalty free music site?

[Pascal Parvex]

Years ago, I found here a good page for royalty free music. I can't find the page anymore. What is the best royalty free music site on the net? It should not be too costly, as the music will be used on my film studen's movies.

I like http://www.shockwave-sound.com/

I sometimes use http://audiojungle.net

Only thing with Audio Jungle is song is pay per use. So if you buy it you use in one project one time. Ever want to use for another, buy again.

Yooka Music has some good tracks.

Musopen is great if you need classical music.

http://smartsound.com is great. Choose "Quicktracks" if you want to customize music online.

Thanks for the tips so far. The one I was looking has not shown up, but I suppose I can use other pages.

If you want to rather try out a couple of free sites (mostly Creative Commons) then you can check out a list I composed http://vtkproductions.com/dar_moviemusic.htm.

Because the question comes up so frequently, and because there's been discussion in other DVXUser forums lately about cpoyright and music licensing, here's a sticky from the Audio forum that you might find helpful:

I like to purchase tracks from revostock.com- I find their pricing affordable and the selection is pretty good. Helps that they also offer stock video, sound effects, AE comps, and other cool video-related assets.
