Best Compression For WEB?

I have scaled the web in search for the best specs for compression of short clips shot in DVCPRO HD 720PN. These clips would range from 1-5 minutes and will be placed on a website in quicktime form. Any suggestions?

Any compression I have tried has either been too large, too small or not the right aspect ratio.

Thanks!

I've been using the H.264 800Kbps preset in Compressor, only changing the size in the geometry pane to 50% of original (so 640x360). I've been pretty happy with that.

What is too large / too small for your purposes? H.264 is probably your best bet, but you will need to tweak the fps and frame size if you are trying to meet a particular size benchmark.
