What tool do you guys use for converting AVCHD to ProRes? I'm usually okay editing AVCHD on my timeline, but I've found it's a little slower/clunkier in CS6 than ProRes, and I have a big project all shot on AVCHD to edit over the next month.

Something free to download would be ideal.

Thanks!

EditReady is much faster than Clipwrap and has no problems with newer codecs. If I am going to hand off footage I would use Edit Ready. I prefer to use my NLE, Avid MC when I edit myself to convert the file to Avid edit files.
