Quick question. Has anyone used the Watson brand battery offered on B&H? They don't have the Panasonic listed and I won't buy the ikan. (Bad reviews everywhere I looked.) The Watson has only one review with 5 stars.

Thanks for any help or thoughts.

I've got 3 or 4 big batteries from Amazon and a couple smaller ones (My monitor has an Ag-AC battery mount so I keep small ones handy - no idea of the brand). No problems, the big guys run for 2+ hours.

I can say that from my experience the Watson battery doesn't last as long as the Panasonic battery that came with my AC-130A. The original CGA-E/625 lasts about 2 hours of continuous recording while the Watson lasts about 1.5 hours.

I added one of these Lenmar batteries to my AC90 and it has less run time that the Panasonic, but functions flawlessly: Lenmar LIP540 Lithium-ion Camcorder Battery Equivelent to the Panasonic CGR-D54 and CGA-D54s
