I love Barry Green's books.
They ARE the manuals as far as I'm concerned.
 
panasonic should just distribute all their cameras with Barry's book in it!!! which entails hiring him, and paying him millions to do it!!!
 
It has been authorized to go to the printer, so the endless review/preview/proofread/correct/change phase is now over. So now it just needs to get printed, should be done in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime...

Do you have a pre-order link or some kind of web page on this book? I get questions all the time and I've referred no less than a dozen people to this book that "will be released soon." Some kind of link would make it easier for me to refer people, and very much help interested people to get in line -- especially inexperienced users who have no idea who Barry Green is haven't jumped into this forum thing.

I shy away from pre-orders because ... until the thing's in stock and ready to ship, anything can happen. It might take a few extra weeks to finish the proofread because I'm on an Asia trip (just happened) or it might get hung up because the printer has a strike or ... well, who knows? Last time I took pre-orders was on The DVX Book, and it ended up arriving at my place 11 days after I had promised, and there were lots of folks displeased by that since they'd already ordered.

So -- no preorders, but it should be in stock in a couple of weeks. Thanks for all the interest! :)
 
I have the printed proof sheets right now. If I finish proofing tomorrow, it goes to the presses, and should be done in about a week or so.
