FS7: Availability update thread

I got a new date for the FS7 to arrive in Sweden - 141209. It just keeps getting pushed into the future. Maybe Sony doesn't want us Sweeds to buy this camera...
 
Sony says "Sorry. No Swedes. Finns and Norweigians, maybe. And definitely no Danes." Hope that you receive your camera soon as definitely interested in your impressions and experience with it.

I had one ordered from the first batch that hit Norway, unfortunately it came a week too early for me and I didn´t have the funds ready. 5 days later I was paid, too late and now I´m in the waiting game. Camera paid for, number 4 in line, but no idea when it will arrive.
We have planned to use it for a big shoot in Asia in January, so I really hope I get it before xmas.
The 14th og Desember date from Sweden sounds promising.
 
Just got word that mine shipped today from B&H today as well. Now I'm reconsidering purchasing locally. I bought out of state to avoid the sales tax but I was talking to a sales rep from Samys who said I'd still have to pay the sales tax when I file next year. Samy's has a production tax that I can pay which is only 3% vs the 9% overall. Decisions....
 
So I talked to the folks handling the 0% financing and they said all dealers were eligible. So I walked into Microsearch here in Houston and they had a FS7(only one) that was delivered today. Nobody on their list wanted it so it is mine.

Had to rent a lens and adapter since they did not have the Metabones Ultra for F mount. Have that coming from B&H.

I have bought from them before at their old location and the new store is nice and much bigger.

Hey Everyone,

We had a very good PXWFS7 event yesterday, Thanks to all that attended! We really appreciated your comments and found your feedback very helpful! We couldn't stream the event however we did record the event and we will have to do a little editing (some new info that was mention shouldn't be released until we get the OK from Sony) before we upload the seminar.

AVAILABILITY UPDATE:

Yes more cameras are coming in! We are expecting shipments this week and the next 2 weeks. Also some good news: The XDCAFS7 extension unit is shipping too! Got tracking numbers.

That is great news you have the FS7 gear in stock. I just sent you an email seeing if you have FS7 cameras in stock?

Paul, FS 7 cameras continue to deliver. We do not have stock on the shelf presently. The wait list continues to grow but getting in line sooner rather than later offers benefits...
