Auto White Balance for Run and Gun?

Quick question,

I'm going to be shooting some B-Roll in a ghost town in South America. It's going to be moving around a lot between outdoors and indoors. There will be drastic lighting changes. Also, sometimes will be shooting the ocean (high light bounce), then the mountain behind the town.

Should I just leave the white balance on Auto or should I do a custom white balance at the beginning of the day?

I'd stick to the two presets. Daylight for when you are outside and Tungsten inside. That will get it close enough. AWB will make erratic changes mid shot that are hard to correct in post.

Custom WB every time there's a drastic lighting change, not just once at the start of the day. It takes 10 seconds and will make a big difference. "Close Enough" isnt a good term for anything camera-related. Especially when you're traveling to shoot it. Take the time and make sure it's right the first time.

+1 to presets, unless you are using the mark IV which has a more sophisticated white balance meter.
How do you do custom white balance with tungsten light? Indoors it always turns out to cool? Even adjusting amber to +2 to the right doesn't make it look right.
