Lorne Lapham Sales and Rentals in Vancouver will be getting 4 AF-100's in the next two weeks or less (Est. Dec. 14/2010). Panasonic has stated this will be the last shipment to British Columbia, Canada (and likely Canada in general) until the middle of February 2011.

Two weeks or less??? I've pre-ordered 2 here in Toronto (from Cinequip Whites) and they are staying pretty mum on delivery… Which I understand.
 
Yes! 2 Weeks. I have confirmed that with Panasonic and Lorne Lapham Sales and Rentals. They didn't mention delivery date for outside of BC.
 
lorne is a great guy ,just picked p a genus rail mount/ follow focus from him . what is his day rate going to be? not on his web site yet.
 
Anyone ordered from Montreal?

Went to VGA Comm and the guy told me they should come by around 12th of December, it suprised me quite a bit.

There was 1 other guy on the order list.

Moi. Have had our deposit in for some time now.
 
For all of canada? That cant be. I have mine at vistek and theres no way a major pro video store will not get a first shippment. If so, panasonic really dropped the ball on canadian customers.
 
We've got one of those Lapham orders. Put it in a week or two ago. If we get it in time that camera will be on a production mid-January. Can't wait to get my hands on it.
 
As far as I know, it's true. Vistek may have done a large order to begin with. It's just how production goes... slow to start, then pick up with demand. Then flood the market like GoPro's.
 
the guy at VGA COMM said anything can change, but priced mine at 4700.

i dropped my deposit about 3 weeks ago already. I hope they really come around the 12th, that be dope.
 
Had a chance to speak to my supplier here in Toronto today (CinequipWhites - I put in an order for two O'Connor O-Box Matte Boxes) - and they still had no word on delivery / or were unwilling to say anything.
 
I have a feeling it will be during boxing week. Can't wait to get mine from Vistek here in Toronto
 
called lorn lapham on friday to see about the af100 but matt never called me back now it is tuesday , might have to buy through specalized com .
 
I am hoping the next week for sure. Though we get screwed this year because christmas falls on a weekend so shipping will most likely get the monday tuesday off. It leaves little time for that week, but im hopeful. Jawed, when did you order?
 
Vistek still has no word from Panasonic as far as delivery dates and and units being shipped. We are hoping for a dozen units to show up before the new year with 10 spoken for already but Panasonic Canada is notorious for delays so lets hope for a Christmas Miracle!

Do you work at Vistek? I'm one of those early birds getting a unit at Vistek.
