Attention Canadian AF-100 Enthusiasts

I was told on tuesday they should be in in the next 1-2 days. Its two days now and I phoned but the lady didn't know and I had to leave a message... I hope they phone me back soon!

Call you back? Never has anyone from there called me back… I'm probably on their 'bad customer' list for slaggin' them all the time here - Nah, they probably don't know where here is.
 
lol ya. Its a shame, if they actually had someone on these forums they could answer our questions and have better cutomer relations.

On a side note, they are having a sale until tomorrow - all books are $10, all Setwear gloves $10, old tape $3, and a whole bunch of random other stuff (got some 8" rods for $15 :D)
 
I do the rentals there. I'll try to let someone on the sales team know that their insight would be appreciated here.
 
YAY! Jonathan just emailed me, they will be ready for pickup early tomorrow afternoon!!! :D

Just in time for my shoot on saturday lol, good thing I'm only behind the scenes.
 
Well now I must say I am pissed off. I and I mean it. I went down today to get my camera and SUPRISE! Its not there. Oh don't mind that I had someone cover work for me and took an hour bus ride so I could pick up my camera before my shoot tomorrow. Turns out they weren't even delivered to Cinequip, someone had to go pick them up!

And I don't know about anyone else but to me for a store that closes at 5:30, "early afternoon" should be around 1-2pm (followed by mid afternoon 2-3, and late afternoon 3-5:30).

So glad I had client meetings in London today... I guess I'll call ahead next week to make sure that they are actually at CinequipWhite before I drive out.
 
Good idea Ryan, cause as it stands now I won't buy anything more from you guys (haven't done rentals with you yet so I don't know about that).
 
Did they ever show up Friday at Cinequip? I need my second cam by the end of next week, and I don't want to loose my "early delivery pre-order deposit". Though I'm not sure what that means since I can walk off the street and pick it up elsewhere.
 
Let me know if you need to borrow mine while I'm away on vacation next week.

Just heads-up for future ordering: I had no trouble at all getting an AF-100 through Henrys in Toronto: I thought I was super-late ordering (November), but turns out I was third in line, and got mine in their first shipment (about three weeks ago). They didnt' even require any kind of deposit.
 
Finally! Went by today and got it. :D Its sooo fat!

I must say that its wasn't Cinequip's fault that Panasonic was really slow getting their camera to them. As Jonathan told me they don't have the same priority that a big place like B&H does.
