Apple iSlate / iPad

It always is! I hope there will be a way to use this as a HD monitor AND record direct to its hard drive....THAT would be great.

....plus, you can play games as you wait for the next shot to be set-up!

Look for the "iOS" on these.

lol...

i imagine the islate would be really heavy, and slippery... like the Iphone... that thing needs a rubbery grip!

just watched the video about it on apple .com.

Looks obnoxious to type on. its too big to one hand it, but too small to comfortably laptop style type.

also, how does it work with 3G? do you need a Service provider? who? how much?

It's cheap enough that I might actually get one for my daughter. She loves playing games on my iphone.

idontcare.

You should. If you ever used an iphone, you'd realize that if it weren't for the screen size and lack of horsepower it would be all the computer most people would need. This closes that gap significantly. Most people aren't power users, they surf the web, do e-mail and word process, and that's about it. If I didn't edit for a living I really wouldn't have use for a high powered workstation.

LED 9.7" screen...

How long until we can get an HDMI/HD-SDI/Component -> iPod connector cable so we can use it as an on-board camera monitor?

Yes, I know it's not a production monitor...
