Apple beats Microsoft!

Only two? :happy:

I know... really!

... I'm sitting here looking at 4 mac's plus 2 iPod's and I didn't get an invite either. What's up with that?:Drogar-Shock(DBG):

(I guess only select iPad's come with a 'Golden Ticket'...or at least that's what I heard)

Does this mean that those who supported Apple because they were the "plucky underdog" ... now have to switch sides? :P

Funny how that works, ain't it! Of course, market capitalization is just one measure of size. When it comes to market share of their OS, they still are the "Plucky underdog", with a fat wallet.

I really think Apple has just scratched the surface with what's to come in the future with phones / mobile computing, I bought my very first Apple product (iPad) a few weeks ago and love it, never in my life did I think I would say that. They must be doing something right because I'm going back to pick up an iMac.

:shocked:

I heard an acquaintance say pretty much the same thing the other day. He wasn't going back for an iMac, though. Still, he was singing the praises of the iPad and how much his 80+ year old mother (a person who had no use for computers) loved it.

now seems like the time for microsoft to do a commercial about how 2010 will be like 1984. :2vrolijk_08:

Both Apple and Microsoft heavily utilize DRM. Unless they cease doing so, I hope they both go under.

As someone who lives in the land of Microsoft and has many friends and acquaintances that feed their families with a Microsoft paycheck, and who would have to live the financial consequences of living in an area that has 50,000 employees in the area suddenly without work (as well as the thousands of people whose paychecks rely on being a Microsoft vendor or supplier of some sort), I hope they don't.

Your mild inconvenience with DRM isn't worth me and most of the Seattle area losing our homes.
