I had to watch them all. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) Really funny stuff, Kovarova

I am a PC user, but still found these extremely hilarious.

"The, uhm...Awesome...Awesome Computer...review"

I am a little concerned as to where that photo came from on "Network"

Heh, they are ads. Not paticularly clever ads, but yeah, ads.

It would be nice to actaully see some features advertized though.

- Mikko ... amazing how much money is spent on pointess mud slinging like this.

Macs suck a big one.

Word! THEY ARE THE WORST! :furious3:

I hope I am not being too crazy... I am half joking. I just remember a few years ago I was at NAB and in one of the PostProduction classes. These two ladies were in there, and me and my friend, before the class started they were just ripping on PC's... I was so frustrated... they got to the point of saying if you use a PC you're not as good of an editor! I was fuming... LOL!

I like my expandability... my knowledge of troubleshooting... I like my two button mouse... I like being able to modify any file I want... I like the full control over everything... The Mac OS is built for people who don't want to do that stuff (IMO). I like having the control. Its also the price that makes me go toward PC's... I can build myself a smoking custom editing PC for about half the cost of a powerful Mac editing computer.

I like my expandability - I agree
my knowledge of troubleshooting. - Just learn more about Macs
I like my two button mouse - Use the same one on a Mac.
I like being able to modify any file I want - I don't understand what can't you modify on the mac
I like the full control over everything. - well what about the weather
The Mac OS is built for people who don't want to do that stuff (IMO) - K.I.S.S
I like having the control. - Hence the I like full control over everything

:)

Oh and I also think those Ads where hilarious

I really want a mac for my next computer. Funny ads too.

That being said, I sometimes find that mac users can be REALLY snobby!!

I don't know how many times people will blow me off after they find out I use a PC for editing. Then I laugh when I find out that they're editing on iMovie

Everyone knows it's the person behind the computer/camera that makes the difference.

That's true some mac users are snobby. I think there are a lot of Mac users that buy macs just for the name and would be just as satisfied with a windows machine. Of Macs are the only computer that you can say you bought for the experience as well.

Good editing is caused by good editing. There is plenty of software on either side, some good and some bad. That being said, I switched to Mac when the PowerMac G5 prices dropped about 6 months ago. I assumed it would run pretty fast and smooth, but I had no idea. I have had zero problems and have been running Shake, Maya, FCP, Photoshop, yada yada. Anyway, I'm no Mac snob, but from my experiences with PC, Mac is the way to go for multi media.

I used to say that Macs were too expensive. I even built a stout PC editing machine to save $... but in the end, it cost me more than what I paid for my G5... and the G5 puts it to shame.

Anyway, I still love PC (typing on one now). I mostly use it for internet and web design (code). For editing and multi media tasks though... once you go Mac, you don't go back.
