Anyone using this Follow Focus

I've used the v2 D|Focus - for the money it's a great value; not perfect but, what, $175 with gears? Can't tell what the difference is - supposedly a steel rail block vs. delrin.

They're historically a little slow to fulfill orders, and they often overcharge for shipping. But for a follow focus, the next step up is like $600.

Its a very similar design to my iDC follow focus just without the loupe and a poorer mounting system for a run and gun type set up.

That being said, I love my iDC system for a quick grab and go type of shoot. Shoulder mounted or on tall sticks its wonderful to have the whole kit i need all cleanly packaged like that without needing a rail system and all that jazz.

The only time i have had it be a problem was when shooting with an older Leica prime (28mm) in a room filled with vats of boiling liquids in Phoenix (about 120 degrees in the room with a million % humidity) but by the time the follow focus started to slip everything was getting foggy from my lens to loupe.
