anyone using the nikon z6 in video mode for paid gigs?

There are a few more Z6+ProRes clips on YouTube now. It seems like a really good value package, especially for those with Nikon glass.

I was skeptical of that blog with the photographing a screen workflow for sure, but it I'd say DPReview's ProResRaw tests confirm the same difference in resolution versus the internal signal. So frustrating, with Blackmagic showing us what's actually possible, and at what price, regarding internal codecs, and any company with any knowhow in autofocus is just like lalalalalalalala. Such a missed opportunity from Nikon here.

BTW, according to the DP Review, Z6 does line skip.

just to clarify, from the small amount of sites that i have read, i believe the line skipping is limited to the external proes raw feed.

i'm just saying.

That is correct. No lineskipping for internal recording or for HDMI out 10bit 422.

Here is a thing we did this week.
I was Acam on my FS7 doing the presenter on my shoulder. Nick was shooting on a z6 with old 70-200 (gen2 or 3) and new (zmount 14-30) on a monopod.
Both cams were at 4300WB, there was no time to grade but the FS7 was slog2 with sony lut applied.
