I'm stepping through your movie now, yes I see the glitches you were talking about - and whilst the above is relevent anyway, I think we need to look at the FPS setting, maybe forcing it to 23.97 rather than 'source'. Was this 24P or 24PFS? Canon don't seem to make PSF play nice with anything. I don't use 24P or PSF as I'm in the world of 25PSF - but I still have to manually wipe up after C100 rushes get imported.
As I step through, I'm seeing 24 frames between the start of each glitch. Like there's some ham-fisted 30-to-24 conversion going on. How do the clips - the original MTS files - play back in something like VLC or Movist
