Just made prototype of Anti-twist & HDMI lock plate for GH2.I made this for work with RedRock micro base, but it can be used with any plates. If somebody interested let my know,an I will invest the money for production in factory. Can not tell you exact price, but will be around 50 US.fr_294_size880.jpgfr_293_size880.jpgfr_296_size1024.jpgfr_297_size1024.jpgfr_298_size1024.jpg

Could you possibly add some grip above and below the plate? It looks like you have just smooth aluminum

I know this may be shooting for the moon, and totally unrealistic, and pushing up the cost - if it is even possible, but...

Do you think you could modify this to be extendable? What I mean, is maybe use a screw and slide system to change the dimensions of the bracket, so that it can be fitted to more than just the GH2? Because if the GH3 is just around the corner, wouldn't it be cool if you could have an adjustable bracket that would fit any of the GH series 1, 2, 3, x, as long as Panasonic doesn't change the form factor on the GH series too much...

I'm probably dreaming :) But, heck, I'd buy that dream even if it cost $100.

I was thinking to made universal plate, for various models.
write now I haw GH2 on my hands.lets start with this.
optional I planing to make holder for 2.5 to 3.5 jack, for audio, but I dont know really need or not,
thank you for advice's.

I think it would be a real winner if there was a way to change the battery without having to unmount the camera.

I'd love one! I've broken too many cables xD Ship to Sweden? Ofc I'll pay any extra cost :)

Would be great with room for battery change... And make it black, or anything that doesn't shine. I hate gear that's reflect light and is visible in windows/mirrors, etc...

It looks REALLY nice. I'd be interested if it could also lock in my audio cable (and were cut a little shorter so I could access the battery).

So, what other 15mm rail devices besides the Redrock Micro will your anti-twist plate attach to? This looks intriguing, but I really don't want to buy Redrock's overly priced stuff. Another problem I see with the two piece Redrock rail clamp you've used... because of its screw on design it could potentially twist just like the camera while using a follow focus (I've read about this happening). Solve the GH2's mounting problem and introduce another with the Redrock. Your thoughts?

Thanks!
