Another T2i+Tokina 11-16+Glidecam video

Nice- moving to the footage section of the forum.

Did you use a stabilizer or anything for this, or just hand-held while skiing behind them?

Did you use any ND's with the circular polarizer. That's a look I've been trying to achieve and everything I shoot keeps blowing out or looks like mud with lot's of ND. Just curious what your cam settings and workflow are?

Pete,

I used a tiffen circular polarizer. I shoot on a custom profile that I did on-camera. I believe it's a landscape profile, sharpness and contrast all the way down, and color tone/saturation at zero.

In post, I use color 1.5. I correct first so I can simply copy and paste grades from one clip to another. In this edit, I desaturated a little and slightly blue'd my whites.

Thanks, I've shot with Landscape quite a bit but not with contrast and sharpening turned down. That combo of exposure and the polarizer are giving incredible range for such bright conditions. It definitely looks awesome. Thanks again for giving your specs!
