Hey Everyone!
We just finished building a dolly for our next short, and i just wanted to share some pictures and footage.

THis is the wheel set up we used.

How we connect the sections of track together. it's just a 1 1/4" pipe shoved into the 1 1/2" pipe.

ANd of course, some footage.

it's not the best, but today was the first time we have used it. there are still some things to work out, like how to keep the track pieces connected to each other. after a few passes, they tend to detach from each other causing gaps. other than that however, it works wonderfully!

If you have any suggestions or questions for me, please let me know!

Nice work. I would suggest getting some sandbags, like you see at cafes to hold the track in place so it dose not wonder around. i use that and small bits of roap to hold it all together.
I posted some pics of my dolly in this thred. Also my new DIY 35mm adapter.

How do you go fitting it all into a car?

I would like to build a dolly. Where did you get those wheels? I need a ball-bearing swivel setup like that. I was considering the Glideshot wheels, but I think the type you have would move around better. Altho I could be wrong.
