Hi Adam, what shoulder pad setup do you have on there?

As I don't want to raise the camera more than needed and have a compact rig I went for this tiny baseplate. Read more about it here:

A few bad iPhone shots of FS7 on Chrosziel baseplate with XDCA back and Tokina 11-16 on Commlite.
I really like the Chrosziel. Just installed it so need to move the pad a bit for balance. But despite what Sony tells me, I find it far easier with baseplate. Also mounted the arm on the Chrosziel rosette and that gives a little more reach.

This is 100% useless, with all due respect. If you use this in a professional environment you will end up in serious trouble. It may be fine for a few minutes here and there but that pad is WAY off from where it needs to be.
For any of you who don't do this stuff often, here is a piece of pro advice for you:
Any camera that is being set up for handheld use MUST be able to sit on your shoulder with NO support of any kind from your arms in testing for balance. The balance point MUST be directly over your shoulder, no exceptions. If you dont follow this, you are killing yourself, your shoot and making yourself look about as expereinced as a first year cinematography student. It amazes me how many people on these forums make life hell for no reason other than ego.

Yup, while everyone is entitled to an opinion, the form factor of the FS7 and configuration options mean camera balance plus the ability to use a follow focus is a constantly shifting target. No call for telling people they are Looking like amateurs as they try to make it work for them.
Also lest we forget the camera is only around 2kg anyway. It's not like you have an epic and cabrio punishing your spine.
