This is interesting! 6" 45RPM on top, that's no surprise. I had a very hard time picking out the 3, yet 6 was hard enough already. Congrats to everyone for making this fest the best to date.

Gonna have to stop you there mate. I seriously doubt with the amount of effort and skill shown in your piece that luck had much to do with it at all.

Congrats to all the winners and entries. Was certainly some interesting pieces this time around. And to the orgnaisers, love the next fest topic them, I imagine we are all going to be shown so extremely varying pieces.

Barry_S, thanks for getting this out. Have some chicken soup, legal drugs, and rest so you can get better.

TimeFest..... Tempting. I have a partial feature treatment dealing with time. Will have to see if it is doable.

Thanks a lot man. We really appreciate the support and hope to get it into some other festivals once we make a few changes.

You guys all rock and I am pretty sure we'll be back for Time-fest.

Really great work this time around. I'm very nervous for the next fests (but excited at the same time) -- the entries are becoming more and more amazing.

Hopefully I'll be seeing some of your happy little west coast faces this time around. i miss that sunny weather!!! -- it's 23 degrees here... and that's getting warmer!!

he he, none of the films I voted for made the top 3.

But they were on my shortlist. Congrats to the winners, it's a big inspiration to see the movies that come out of the DVXUser Fests.

hopefully I can join the next fest (tried the last two and didn't get anywhere close to filming a short).

Herman, you are the man here and I am SO pleased to see you get the award as a recognition for all you've done over time, and not just for a single entry.

Whats funny is, I did not see 6"45rpm I downloaded it, but it glitches at about 2 min. and that is all I get to see....

That's all there is. It isn't a glitch. Matty took the bold approach of making the statement that in two minutes he could blow everyone else's 6 minutes out of the water and it worked. His stuff is so good he doesn't need an ending.

That was awarded privately to a film that really had almost everything, but was hampered by bad sound. Great lighting, acting, characters, story, everything else -- but sound issues kind of held it back. The filmmaker has elected a free copy of our forthcoming "Sound for Motion Pictures & Television" DVD. I really look forward to what this filmmaker does for TimeFest, because if the sound issues were off his/her back, they'll be a force to be reckoned with! :thumbsup:
