Anamorphic lenses - how to do it?

Hello, I just bought my t2i and have an old Moller Anamorphic lens laying around and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of modding it to work with my camera.

The last time I modded a Moller lens I used JB weld to attach a stepup ring to it so I could thread it to my DVCam which I don't think applies when working with 35mm lenses.

The lens is around 40mm in diameter at the back does anyone know if it will it work?

Well, I took apart my lens last night and without the long metal barrel at the end the front element fits right over my 50mm. It looks like I will need to get a diopter to be able to focus with an SLR so I will see what happens in the next day or two

Will do, I just got done reading this entire thread - and it leaves me wondering what opticly causes the focusing issues with this lens which I never experienced when using the same lens on my minidv camera.
