Amazing price for HVX

Has anyone else come across that great ad banner on top here? It rebates the HVX about $900 from the price on panasonic.com. If I only had $9000 I would buy it.

This price includes the P2 cards and camera.
 
Yah, I was shocked to see that price, especially since the camera isn't even out yet. Is anyone going to take advantage of this?
 
Well yeah... especially if Jan introduces that four 4-gb bundle for $1,000 less than the two 8-gb bundle... then you'd be talking about a fully-kitted out rig for maybe $7900 street price...
 
Not that I am complaining, but I can't believe that they are offering discounts before the camera even hits the street. I may have to rethink my previous advanced order and replace it with them.
 
Interesting, I saw that earlier this evening and there was a definite bugging out of the eyes. They must be selling the cameras at cost in order to build clientele and sell accessories where they make some margin.

Rush, when the camera comes out, are you saying whatever the lowest street price is at the time from an authorized dealer, you will beat? 5500/free shipping/1 free cleaning/ and no sales tax sounds like the best deal now even with a 500 nonrefundable deposit.

Competition is great.
 
I like two options - so we can all see what the P2 cards are really going to come it at price and size-wise. I think P2 is going to get bigger and faster pretty quick. That and the FS4 announcement in recent weeks has me totally excited.

My business leasing agent keeps calling me, and I keep telling him to hang tight. Hang tight, HD is on its way.

Great news! But regardless, I'm going with EVS Online. As far as I'm concerned, with the discounts, quality of service, and package deals Rush and his team always provides, there's no reason for me to go elsewhere. I'm thinking of sending Rush my sister as a token of my gratitude. She won't mind, I don't think.
