After tons of "collage footage videos" I am using my setup for semi planned stuff. I am in a group of 5 in my college, and we are following film fest rules, all except for the time limit. We have about 9 solid weeks to work on our video.

Our group got the genre sci fi with some other specifics we need to include such as a character, item and line of talking.

I volunteered to the be the groups camera man. These are some of the shots I got for our "alien" scene. At this point in the short video, aliens abducted this young guy and are putting something into his brain, but they don't do it with drills and saws they do it with this little wand thing and its all gentle and friendly looking...

I had to mask some of the clips to blur the aliens more to hide their very human like appearances, but it came out better than I was expecting because we had less than a hour to figure out what the hell we were going to shoot, and shoot it.

I was also messing with some sounds, I am still trying to find some more spacey creepy sounds. Sorry for the extra long shots, I didn't bother to tighten my edits since its just some playin around

Does look good, I see you used the music from the video copilot sound effects program. I used that for a trailer I did.

thanks.
yeah the music is from the disc they sell. i have to record my own sfx eventually for this but i was just messing around with it for now
