I'm looking forward to the day that Sound Devices makes a camera. I have no word that they will, only logic that they will at least consider it and that they would do a great job if they took it on.

Not sure why they would offer a digital cinema camera at a suitable price for owner operators and only make it a PL Mount. That doesn't make sense. If I'm renting PL glass, I'm renting the body.

It looks like the price doesn't include battery, SSDs, card reader, viewfinder, so it could climb pretty quickly, but still shouldn't be much more that the c300, and less a than F5.

What do Aja and Blackmagic have against ND filters? Cameras of this caliber deserve ND filters. Is that so much to ask?

Few cameras include a viewfinder, media or batteries in their base pricing, the only proprietary items needed seem to be card reader and SSDs

Great start. Not sure how that can transfer to 4k 2k (as sony found out!)
