AG-HMC150 Pricing Set?

[David Saraceno]

Just got an email from ProMedia in Memphis that lists the AG-HMC150 at $3995.00.

I think that is confirmed.

anybody want to weigh in?

[Barry_Green]

Interesting -- is that $3995 MSRP? If so, that puts street at around $3500, which seems like exactly the right place!

ProMedia's an authorized dealer, yes? I can't imagine that an authorized dealer would make up their own price and send it out without some approval, but... still haven't heard anything from Panasonic directly on this, and the 150's not on the Panasonic USA website yet so as far as I know there's no official MSRP released...

[David Saraceno]

Yep.

It's authorized.

[Barry_Green]

I've had it confirmed officially by Panasonic USA that yes, the MSRP is $3995.

[David Saraceno]

Did ya happen to get a confirmed MSRP for the 170?

I won't tell anyone.

[Jason Ramsey]

MSRP for the 170 is 5995 isn't it?

[Barry_Green]

Didn't ask. I should probably ask, huh?

[David Saraceno]

Yep.

It would be nice to know.

That's what B&H has it listed for.

[David Saraceno]

So does SC.

But I don't think anyone has confirmed it a MSRP at all.

[Jason Ramsey]

yeah. Haven't heard it confirmed, but pretty good sign that multiple authorized dealers are showing the same *apparent* MSRP.

later,
Jason

AValive, I like the site! I may have to buy through you. Has anyone else bought through you? Are you an authorized reseller?

[AValive]

Yes we are an authorized reseller. We also happen to be in the same town as Barry Green and David J

And I take it you have no price set as yet for the HPX170?

[AValive]

No pricing has been given on the HPX 170 from Pannie... at this time

[Richard J. Johnson]

Is there a comparison on the AG-HMC150 vs the HPX170 yet. I know Barry is cooking up something.

We're a month out.

Wonder if the feature set has been frozen.

Should be interesting.
