This has made me a happy camper, as I seem to be 80% shoulder mount with the Ac130. Manfrotto remote, fastened to the rod system - gives me focus & iris without letting go (should work with any Panasonic with the 2-input remote setup). With the focus-in-red, I'm pulling focus faster than my Nikons do AF for stills. I think I'll get a mini potentiometer and wire up a zoom/trigger for the other handle.
Those wide handles are the bomb... enough clearance to get it on & off the tripod assembled (my last set had to come off to clear the head) and a wide enough base that I can set the rig down and it doesn't topple.
The more I use this camera for event/run & gun, the more I love it.
