I've been using the 130 with the Manfrotto focus controller on my crane. I've noticed something odd -
When I remove the camera to go from the crane to a tripod or handheld, naturally I have to unplug the zoom and focus remotes. Lately I'm finding that when I do this, the Iris can revert to "Auto" (where "STD" is displayed next to the iris setting on the LCD). I know once time I had accidentally kicked the Iris switch on the control over to auto, but subsequent times just unplugging it could make it switch over in camera.
Thing is, there's no way I can find to reset the iris to manual in camera - you have to run back to the crane and plug the controller back in... which is a drag when the crane's up on a hill 300 feet away. Power down, remove the battery, etc... go through the menu (and my menu settings only allow focus when the camera is switched to auto anyway) - none of that works.
Anyone seen behavior like this? Anyone know a way to get the Iris back to manual when it's been set to "auto" by the remote? Toggling the "Auto" switch won't do it.
