F35/F65 About to buy, next Monday, 1 or 2 Sony F65 Cinealta packages .. and just my few words

Everything is relative. I'd consider a full shooting package with that camera to be between 30 and 40 lbs (remote lens controls with 2-3 motors depending on prime or zoom, transmitter, Cinetape or Light Ranger). It's not undoable but it will preclude certain methods of shooting, and heavier duty support all around. I think a lot of people shooting today have gotten accustomed to cameras weighing about half that, so it's a major adjustment.

Bought and received a ARRI MFF-1 (second hand)
I had also a MB-20 (second hand)
I ordered a 95W v-mount battery (almost new)
I ordered a ARRI BP-8 new (almost 1K euro) as no ones 2nd hand, as a 19mm is needed for the ARRI MB-20
I will need some proper power , I ordered a only 95W V Mount battery, as the camera comes without power supply and wihout power cable (except the one from V mount to DC input)
Any ideas where to get a proper (but not too much expensive) power supply for the sony f65 ?

The F65 is pretty power-hungry if I remember correctly, drawing something like 8 amps. That 95W battery should only run it for around 45 minutes, I would think. A shark fin running dual batteries for hotswapping would probably be a good choice, but you'd need at least four batteries for it to make sense I think.
I see a bunch of reasonable 8-pin power Lemo to d-tap power cables out there, it would be easy enough to chop one and splice it to a power supply like this. I haven't used or tested that specific cable and converter so I can't vouch for them, just examples.

This is just an example image I found online. I have also dreamed about owning one of these crazy cameras. The one you have Alejandro looks like it's in great condition.

Hi, sorry for the delay, here what I accomplished, let me know your opinion.
DETAILS:
Exported to #DCI #8K. H.264. CBR 33mbps.
GEAR:
· Camera #sony #Cinealta #F65 RS #sonyf65
Disabled HFR. No high frame rate to allow high quality, No Filter nor clear filter. 24P / 60.
Used 1 SRMemory 512S55. 9 clips / takes as used on edit.
· Lense: #Arri Master Prime 50mm. About T2.0 or 4.0, I don't remember.
· Lights: 1x and 2x used. Cromalite COOLED 200: 1 behind the sofá, and one more in the shoot of the rear backpanel of the 2U rack shown.
No apple was used to edit. Only pictured.
EXPORT 1 (intermediate): SONY RAW to DPX
Used Sony RAW viewer to export original mxf to 8K RAW #dpx RGB 444 16 Bit depth. LUT: Slog 2.
Total space used on drive for about 5 minutes that become 1 minute 33 seconds = 1.44 TBytes. 7479 files in 9 folders.
EXPORT 2 (final): #adobe Premiere 2022
No LUT applied. Brightness about 15-25% in some clps. Contrast about 7-15% in some clips.
CBR 33mbps. File size: 333 MB aprox.
No color grade.

It's awesome that someone else is still just as excited by the F65 in 2026. I purchased an F65 late last year as a demo unit with very few hours on it, and I've been thoroughly impressed by the footage quality, specifically the color depth.
I also discovered a couple of interesting details about the camera:
- Sensor Crop: The final image is cropped in from the sensor output by 22 lines at the top and bottom and 32 lines on the left and right. This records a total of 4160 × 2204 pixels (44 extra lines total vertically and 64 extra lines total horizontally) in the MXF file.
- RAW HQ Option: Although not publicly released, Sony still includes the RAW HQ option in the system. RAW-HQ averages 20.38 MB/frame (approximately 3.91 Gbit/s at 24 fps). This results in an effective compression ratio of about 1.74:1 against the sensor lanes, which I believe remains one of Sony's lowest compression rates for a 16-bit Raw format. It reduces my 1 TB cards to 30 minutes of runtime. If you'd like you can check out some of my footage here:
