I also loved the grade on this one, particularly in the exteriors. Low contrast look, with something actually black in the image so you have a high-contrast reference (and don't see it as a cheap milky-blacks trick). And same with saturation. Lovely.

Beautiful editing indeed. For me, you turned the back-to-camera shot into a theme about the desire to be there--and maybe something about the melancholy of memory and vicarious experience. Look up Caspar David Friedrich's Wanderer above a Sea of Fog.

The score was also very smart. I loved that you didn't let it dictate your editing, like so many vimeo videos do.

I shot this on my a7s, all shot in SLOG2, using the Flaaat settings, graded with the Vision Impulz luts and simple curve correction

here is a musicvideo i filmed mostly with the a7s and dji ronin. the slowmotion shots are made with the fs700.
ah and the aerial shots are made with a gh4

I'm not superhappy with the grading and the shots they chose but that wasn't my part. So here is roughly what my edit would have look like

lens used mostly was the canon 24-105 + metabones speedbooster to film in aps-c crop mode to have less rolling shutter and be able to have good quality in 50p. Used the internal xavc-s with slog2.
