I just shot this sequence yesterday (was building and digging that door into the water for a few hours) haha. I should have an edit ready sometime early August (it would be intercut with 5D mk iii footage).

I'm sure I'll post it up on DVXUSER once it's done.
 
Kholi's PP, around +1 ETTR, Pentax SMC Takumar 55/1.8, prores4444, R11 custom s-curve + filmconvert. I had to pull saturation down to 40. Ignore the highlight blowout on her lip, it's bloody lip balm! You can drag all my screenshots to the desktop to see the full res embedded imgur file. Around +1 ETTR is definitely the sweet spot.

It's a Resolve LUT that you can use with the original settings I posted at the start of the thread. Because I don't have a camera right now, this is the only way I can make adjustments to the actual profile.

For testing purposes, drop this on a second node in R11 and do all of your exposure adjustments before that. Do all of your saturation adjustments after the lut (new node). Any Film Convert goes after the last node, you should be able to get away with using 30 percent FC color, half curve, grain whatever.

Where'd your camera go? I'm receiving my A7s on Thursday, and know a few GH4 owners, with whom I'd like to do some side/side tests (with proper WB and DR settings).
 
Hi Guys, I'm new here! I've been using Kholis's Cine 2 PP setting to great effect. Having real issues with exposing SLOG-2 to avoid noise to the point that I'm thinking that this is better suited to 4K (SLOG-2) that is. I've shot some test footage over the past week and a half just trying out the Sony A7s. All can be found at http://vimeo.com/reelking Cheers!
 
I'm kind of blown away by some of the samples here. I need to try that profile myself. Quite impressive.

Question - if using FilmConvert - where are you starting off using these profiles? Just standard? Or Slog and dialing it back? or...
 
If you just used Slog2 with Pro and up the saturation it makes grading easier. Also shooting around +2 stops over.
