Sadly, I am using Vista's Movie Maker Version 6 until I can afford to upgrade. Rehan's Shader TFX was recommended to me for adding black bars to create a 2.35:1 aspect ratio, but it requires that I custom make a "black bar photo" in a paint program by crafting an image with black bars and filling in the middle with blue, so I can Chroma-Overlay it into my movie. I guessed it was 0,0,255 blue, but nothing says which blue exactly. Then, the plugin has 3 "a" settings, and 3 "b" settings, all in the "Transitions" menu. None of which are defined by an example, so i was left guessing. I imported the image to overlay on my movie, but it just seemed lame, and it only works for a second. There's gotta be a better way.
does anyone have any advice on how to get this aspect ratio for Movie Maker without using Rehan's? The program also has a "registration fee" of $10 if you want all the features....i'm not looking for fancy transitions, just two freakin bars...hahah
thanks in advance.
