I was wondering if anyone else was distracted by that. All I could see was Slowmo Cowboy Butt. It was an interesting shot.
I was completely drawn to that as well, but I assume that his butt plays an integral part in the story somewhere. You know, foreshadowing.

I thought he was ridin' into town for a standoff with the Kicker of Ass?

That's exactly the lens I need.
Very good point. A 50mm is a 50mm is a 50mm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, when using the DoF calculator, if indeed you are using a 50mm cinema style lens on the AF100, and you are wanting what that 50mm would be on film, that translates to about a 40mm.
...My favorite is the PCam by David Eubanks. It has a lot of features beyond the DoF including a Preview butoon so you can get an idea of how big your subject will be in the VF based on lens and distance. Now I don't shoot for a living but I talk to a lot of people that do every week so I use this app so many times, and with the intor of this camera I have paid for it many times over by resolving questions about lensing quickly.
And thus, that's why the Voigtlander 25 f/.95 is selling out before it's even built.
.
Not necessarily true. First off it's a 25mm so dof is naturally deeper. Secondly it will depend how far your subject is from the camera
