You really captured all the elements the destination - food, culture, entertainment as
well as the beauty of the resort itself.
I'm interested to know how long you shot there for as well as what gear you brought
(lens, dolly tract, underwater housing, etc). There were a couple of very nice jib shots
so I'm assuming you had a crew?
Wonderful looking footage. I especially liked the sunset shots on the beach "Discovering Ancient Arts", and riding down the slide and into the water.
Let me know if you need a 2nd shooter sometime
My only suggestion, if I may, would be to change the music. The piece that you go to around 1:00, and then back to again after that bands plays, sounds to me very much like stock, more so thatn it should. Around 1:55 when the horns come in, that works, but the other parts I don't think do.. just my opinion. I LOVE the native music... when it goes back to the stock track it lets me down lol...
Youre right on the stock music though, had to bring that back cuz the native lyrics just got tooo gross , for me that is, its a typical native folk song about a boy liking a girl, i had to mix it down cuz its getting to the part that says "the poor boy was just staring at the girl with his saliva dripping down his mouth..." LOL!!
Thanks Ted for providing all that detail on your crew and gear. When one sees great
work, it's very helpful to know how it was accomplished. The use of the dicapac was
a real revelation. I never realized they could be so effective.
