If you're not gonna use it, sell that stuff on ebay... last I looked, a roll of sound K40 was going for decently big bucks...

I think you can expect to see a fairly quick response from Panasonic after the new Canon entry. ;D

(but seriously, I really do expect one this time... I've heard rumors from sources I tend to believe, so I think they'll actually do something this time...)

well, looks like there really is an xl2 coming around the corner...here's a quote from jan crittenden:

"From what I understand the XL2 will be more expensive than the XL1S and thus as a price persuasion it will have little effect on the DVX100A."

anyway--

i was wondering PAL has a vert res of 576 and HD has a rez of 720 so is that really much of a difference visually?
