A hood for the F1.7 pancake lens?

Any vignetting??

Thanks it looks fine. I hope I can find it in US.
No need for a ND for such a fast lens in my opinion.
Polarizer maybe...

then you must have no idea how to shoot shallow dof in bright light. fast lenses require ND filters in order to maintain proper exposure at low apertures. that's the whole point of having a fast lens!

Maybe the fact that I am coming from Canon 5dII, I can accomplish very nice DOF stopped at F4-F5.6 in daylight with my L lenses.
My GH2 is stuck in Chicago and have not arrived yet so I have no experience with gh2 mft cameras
I understand the DOF with 2x crop factor is different then full frame.
When I get the GH2 i can test further

with a m4/3 you don't have to worry about that! it is COMPLETELY different than a 5D and nowhere as insanely shallow. you'll need fast glass (<f2.8) to get just decent, moderately shallow dof.

Shooting VIDEO in bright daylight, unless you're shooting at some crazy shutter speeds, you still need ND's or a fader ND...unless you want to shoot everything at f22. It doesn't matter how fast or slow the lens is. ;)
