GH4 A better LCD Hood.

Never been happy with Hoodman's 3" or 3.5" LCD Hoods on the GH3 so went looking for a better option & found Vello's 3.0" version.

After a bit of breaking in the fit is about perfect & easily attached/detached. The angled design makes it much easier to operate the Touch Screen & the interior is flocked to cut down on reflection. Plus the leather exterior just looks good, almost OEM. Works equally well on the GH3 & GH4.

Do you find the 3" Vello sufficient as far as the size go? Does it block any part of the screen or hinder the touchscreen? I'm going to get one but I'm wondering if the 3.5" would offer a better viewing angle and better access to the touch screen. Any thoughts?

The 3" Vello is perfectly sized for the GH4 & my only complaint is it doesn't fold up quite as compactly as Hoodman's.

I believe mine is that exact one, and I agree it fits great on GH4
