7D Time-lapse with Generic Timer-Remote

can your exposure count be set above 399 [i.e. infinity?] I just bought it [that one from ebay in this thread]but it doesn't say... that would be stupid if it can't...
Yes it can be set to infinity.

It is in between 399 and 1. It looks like this "--"

Hi Everyone,

I haven't checked back here in a while, I had no idea the thread had grown this long.

Anyway, to answer a couple questions:

I used this remote:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350272948843#ht_2299wt_941

It does not appear he carries this exact same remote anymore but there were a ton of people who were selling them at the time.

I got the slow and steady pans using after effects. Drop your image sequence into a 1920x1080 composition and you will have lots of room to move it around, pan, zoom, whatever. There are also crazy mechanical tripod heads out there, but not in my budget.

I found that getting the ISO as low as possible and fooling around with long shutter times gave me the best results. It's really a trial and error process though.

Thanks for looking everyone, sorry I neglected this post for so long.
