Hey guys, hit a little speed bump last night importing 7D footage into FCP. I have converted all my clips to ProRes422 (LT) using MPEG Streamclip. Video settings match the sequence settings, so no problems with the video side of things. However, I am always forced to render audio on each of my clips.
Can anyone suggest MPEG Streamclip settings for conversion of the audio when transcoding clips? I have been using MPEG-4/AAC - stereo - 48 khz - 128 kbs. Clips show on up on the timeline with identical info for Left and Right channels (stereo mono as opposed to single left or right channel).
Should I be using a mono setting during Streamclip conversion? I have FCP set up for 48 khz - 16 bit stereo audio.
Please recommend your own audio settings in MPEG Streamclip conversion.
Thanks in advance.
