Apple Final Cut Express HD and DVX 100BP footage?

I'm not a hundred percent sure that final cut express HD will import and play footage from the DVX 100BP. So before I crack the box, does anyone have knowledge on final cut express HD and it's compatability with the DVX 100B?
I'd appreciate any help.
 
FCE doesn't edit 24p timelines. If that's not important to you, then it should work just fine. (I think someone asked in the FCP forum recently about the limitations of FCE versus FCP; there's a fairly long list.)
 
you cant edit 24pa but u can edit 24p i have used it and it works just fine with 24p footage and for the price its well worth the money. from what i have heard the only thing it it doesnt do over FCP (i could be wrong) has to do with editing on a 24pa timeline.
