7d. Tamron 28-75. Shot at 3.2 aperture. VERY Slight color correction.

The other angles look great too.

I liked it all. The Dr. played his role well....he was very funny.

I can't believe how sharp YouTube looks now that it is projecting 1080p.

This is a scene from "The Wackness", right??

Ahh, here it is... found it:

For a competition or something?? or just for fun?

Looks great to me, by the way.

Thanks guys!

This was for a director buddy I know who is at UT Austin. It's a scene from the wackness we recreated. He described the location he scored and I was like, 'Ok I'm there.'

This is the camera audio only but We used my h4n with an octava mk12 shotgun. Didn't mess with Lavs.

The final version will be done in a few days So I'll upload that and post it here. Got some pretty cool backlit stuff shooting directly into the sun too on the profile setups.

If you look at the light spots on the desk, you will notice the sun actually moves between the start and end. Yeah It's all natural light through the window off screen right.

One interesting thing I've recently found is that the 7d video uses studioRGB 0-255 luminance levels but youtube and most all video players expect 16-235 which causes the dynamic range to be VERY truncated. Quicktime 7 and Final Cut Pro are smart enough to realize this and play it back correctly. Most pc programs and Youtube will crush the blacks and whites and screwify the image. Mpeg streamclip can fix this with alpha pin filters, also cineform will fix this.

One nice new feature in FCP 7 is automatic youtube output which reduces the gamma to 16-235 HD rec709 standard. I've used that for output.
