Here's the trailer for a feature we shot with the 7D. I am currently editing it, should hopefully be finished by late September/October. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Here's a synopsis

"Its 1984. An exotic dancer named Cherry has just watched the five men who assaulted her walk free with the help of a corrupt police force. Seeing no justice coming from within the system Cherry enlists the help of her brother and they take the law into their own hands and seek justice on their own terms... one bullet at a time. But with a professional hitman after them and the police closing in, Cherry is forced to put herself and her loved ones in harm's way to satisfy her need for revenge and her desire to end the corruption that is plaguing the city."

The grading looks fantastic. Any tips on how you achieved that?

looks damn good!!!

duno bout the voice over though

Thanks. For the VO, we were going for the 80's movie trailer style. So it's supposed to be a little corny.

Check out the trailer for Stallone's Cobra for an example.

Thanks. That's actually not too different from what we captured in camera.
We just matched up shots, crushed the blacks, upped the contrast and added some noise to it. The final film will have a lot more done once we get it to a professional colorist with a calibrated monitor.

We're still deciding on the final look of the movie since I'm really just at the beginning stages of the edit. We wanted to get the trailer done first to try and build some buzz. We're also applying for a few Texas Film Grants to hopefully help pay for post-production, so trailer will really help with that.

Thanks for watching it guys.

That looked like lots of fun to shot. Looks good. What is your budget for that? (Ballpark).

Was definitely a very fun shoot. Little stressful since we had a crew of about 6 people total most days, but we managed.

Not sure of exact final budget, but it's somewhere between 55-70k.

Wow, it looks very good for that. I feel your pain on the small crew thing. I look forward to seeing it.
