Lets post up some rig photos and see everyones rigs; im interested to see what gear everyone is using and in what configurations (plus every other section has one!) Happy shooting!

Heres a few from tonights' shoot (at my parents' restaurant, shooting their 3rd television ad). Gear is indiRAILSpro DSLR sm, Manhattan LCD 8.9" HD monitor, 60 LED light, and Rode NTG-2 with vibration eliminating mount, and generic tripod. T2i with 'kit' 18-55 IS with indiSystem left handle adjusted so i can zoom and focus while supporting the rig hand-held, which works VERY well. In the first pic you can see the handle at an angle to the right of the lens; this allows full manual zoom/focus control with just one finger, and with IS on, right hand on the other grip, and shoulder support mounted, i can pull focus smoothly and zoom to frame as needed, handheld, perfectly.

Also my XH A1 rig... The XH A1 system includes a Letus Extreme, Canon FD 50mm f1.4, DVCity mattebox, indisystem follow focus, indiRAILSpro DSLR sm, Manhattan LCD 8.9" HD monitor with shade system/battery, and generic tripod.

pics a bit old now as i sold the small hd

Dear Nature,

Please excuse my back yard from growing actual grass. The builders left us no topsoil, and we have lots of red clay instead.

Sincerely,
Alex

Hey Alex,

do you have the indifocus mini or pro? I have the same rig but I wasn't sure if the mini would reach the lens when I have a battery grip on the camera. It looks like you have your camera body pretty high up on the that riser, have you tried it with a battery grip?

Thanks,
Nik

Hi, Nik.

I have the mini. The camera block is up a little, but the indiMATTE's riser is all the way down. No problem with the FF gear reaching the snap gear on any of my lenses. I do not have a battery grip, but looking at my rig I really couldn't tell you if the gear on the mini would reach with one. I doubt it.

Peace,
Alex
