last week i decided to customize an old canon 50mm 1.8 fd lens, i found, to get it on my 7d - i also had a broken 80 - 200mm zoom with eos bajonett - after demounting both lenses i fixed the part from the zoom lens to the fd and had a fast and cheap standard lens on my eos. unfortunately the aperture of this lens doesn't work any more, so it's open all the time!- thats why the following test video is shot at 1.8 f - there are also some test shots with a walimex/peleng 8mm fisheye, wich is really bad.
all clips were captured with a monopod on one day!

great work

I love what you are doing - modding old lenses.
I'm guessing you are using the newly added part to your FD as an extender.

wow the fisheye got some great shots! I liked the one taken from the back of the train going down the street with the buildings, and the shot where the camera is looking down at the train, they both came out really well! what city did you shoot in?

thanks - the distance between lens and sensor is not exactly the same as if it was befor customizing it - so at ∞ focus, far away objects aren't sharp!- therefor i can go closer to objects (0.5m) - here are two pics of the lens.

canon 50mm fd 1.8 + diy fd to eos adapter + polfilter + lenshood + cable clip(focusing)

it's vienna, thanks for your opinion!
in video mode the walimex 8mm doesn't look that bad, but at pictures you see the blur.
