70-200 or Primes

I am trying to decide between two different priorities. I am thinking of picking up either the Canon EF 28mm F1.8 and the EF 85mm f1.8 or the Canon 70-200 F4L IS. If I go for the 70-200, I will need to use that for my portrait lens. Right now I use my EF 50 1.8 stopped down to around 2.5 and I could still use that too if needed.
I have the 17-40 F4L and the EF 50 1.8 (and the Tokina 11-16) plus manual primes 35 F2, 50 F2, 60 F2.8 Macro, 90 F2.8, 135 F2.8 and 180 F2.8. I find the manual primes pretty much not practical for stills due to the low quality focusing screen in my T2i. I want to stay with all lenses that can cover full frame as I am waiting for the 5Diii next year (or the 3D??). I am pretty well covered for video side of things, but I find myself shooting stills more and more as it is much easier to do as a hobby (as opposed to video production I do a work with a crew J))

Me, I'd want to have a faster lens for portraits. Also, a zoom lens is not as nice for portraits as a prime lens. Unless there's some reason why you need a 200mm zoom, I'd get the first two lenses.

Later, get the 18-200 as a one-lens-to-pack-around-and-travel-light lens.

I've been on the same fence for a while between the 70-200 f4 and the 85mm 1.8, but after shooting one night with the 50mm 1.8. I just have have to go for the speed over the zoom.
I can't speak from personal experience, but have combed the web on both the 85mm 1.8 and the 28mm 1.8 for opinions. The 85mm seems like a sure bet and a good price. The 28mm 1.8 on the other hand got a few mixed reviews shooting wide open. If you get one let me know.
