60D overheating pass or fail?

No 60D temperature warning so far (bought my camera in April and have been shooting quite a lot outside this summer). Several times I have rested my hand on top of the camera and it felt surprisingly hot, yet still no temperature warning. Last year I shot with a 550D in similar situations and got several temperature warnings and a few automatic shut-downs as a result, so the 60D appears to be an improvement on that.
 
just to warm some people.
using third party chipped LPE6 battery
they tend to heat up the camera faster than origional Canon battery

i had t2i
still have 60D and 5Dmk2
60D is by far the coollest one interns of the temp.
