550D or new 600D for steadicam merlin?

Was going to buy a 550D just to use on my steadycam merlin but now the new 600d with articulated screen has been announced would I be better off with that?
 
I'd look for a used 550D. I sold mine with the 18-55 kit lens for $600. They are dropping fast in price and you will most likely want to sell it after 6 months or a year anyway. I have the 60D now which is a much better camera in terms of camera controls and build quality. The extra weight will help keep your steadycam work smoother. If you buy new the extra $100 for the 60D over the 600D is money well spent.
