All images were brought into PhotoShop and used auto-contrast/auto-tone/auto-color. There's no point in chasing the color differences or getting distracted by them. This didn't make them perfectly matched, but it made them better.
Although it doesnt take much to work at least one of them out, LOL.![]()
results?
Because from past experience doing this, I've learned that people simply won't see past the color differences. Even after equalizing the colors, you can see people have posted here that "this one's yellower" or "I like this one's color."Thanks for another test Barry.
I'm curious though, why you thought it was necessary to add the Photoshop Auto corrections as apposed to posting the uncorrected files?
If interest persists I can make available some of the .mts and mov files. It would have been nice to try my own corrections from the flat original camera files.
I'm interested for sureIf interest persists I can make available some of the .mts and mov files.
Already on it. :happy:So -- now that you know what you like, buy one and go shoot something amazing.
You shouldn't exaggerate either unit's worst traits, because people won't read what you wrote, they'll just look at the pictures. If you're going to post pictures that have exaggerated one's faults, you have to put a text banner over the picture itself explaing what you've done, or people will invariably come away with the wrong conclusion.
I was considering the HMC40 for a long time before moving on to the T2i -- now I'm wondering whether that was a good idea or not.
I'd definitely like to see the actual files from the cameras, especially for Comparisons 1 and 3
Also, still waiting on a low-light comparison from someone...
